Agrar Reisen was founded 1973 by two young Agriculture Engineers and is since 1999 part of Knecht Reisen AG, one of the leading Swiss Tour Operators. Switzerland is nicely located in the middle of Europe – a two hours flight from London, Paris, Rome and other capitals and with excellent train-connections to neighbouring countries and important agricultural zones. The competitiveness of Swiss agriculture has significantly risen in the past few decades. Today, the main emphasis is put on ecological methods - especially sustainability - and production in line with market requirements. Switzerland has a very high standard in all kinds of farming aspects.
